Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Raul's artistic acting career began at a very young age working in several TV and film projects like the TV Series "Tukiti, creci de una!" and the film "Sr. Presidente". He graduated from the University of Miami with a B.A. in Theater Arts and Advertising. He's worked and collaborated with award-winning artists like Moises Kaufman, Victor Lirio, Nilo Cruz, Arturo O'Farrill, Christian Valencia, Christina Sajous, Caesar Samayoa, among others. 

His films have been selected in prestigious film festivals around the globe, like the HBO New York Latino Film Festival, Camerimage, ARPA International Film Festival, among others; and they've been released for theaters and VOD both internationally and in the US. His acting credits also include stage shows like "Carmen, a new afro-cuban musical”, "Rescatando la Navidad”, "Red" by John Logan, and "The Oldest Boy" by Sarah Ruhl.

 

Raul has also been the image for very distinguished brands throughout his career, such as Honda, Spotify, Samsung, Ford, Stella Artois, Sony, ESPN, Captain Morgan, Chipotle, Metro PCS, and many others.

 

Finally, his passion for storytelling doesn’t end there. In the last few years, He has also developed and written several screenplays for his newly founded production company, Beach House Films. He is the author of the short films “Cicatrices”, "Wolves", "Cold-Blooded Animals", and “Bleeding Wounds", the TV series “Los Lobos Blanco” (aka: "The White Wolves"), the feature film “Kapüy”, and one of the co-writers for "Pretty Russell".
